The condenser fan keeps the condenser at an optimal temperature, so that it can cool efficiently. As with any fan, the bearings can go and with the A/C turned on you will notice warm air coming from the vents, overheating while idling or at worst a burning smell.

We recommend inspecting the condenser when replacing the fan, replace if necessary with part # FVD641605003
