Racing Clutch Disc Boxster / Cayman - ZF SACHS - Performance - Manual Transmission - 405 lb-ft max.
Dele #: FVD 116 917
Beskrivelse
This SACHS Racing 4 puck disc with sintered metal plates and torsion springs has a higher friction coefficient than plates with organic friction material. That allows for higher transmittable torque (405 ft lb. / 550 NM max.) and makes them more dirt and oil resistant. This disc has an aggressive start performance (small clutch pedal release window) so is best suited for race use (endurance races, hill climbing, slalom and rally's). It is assembled by hand, which guarantees the highest quality attributes both in terms of clamping load and release characteristics.
This disc is a rigid disc (un-sprung) and is purposefully built to be used with the original dual mass flywheel (DMFW) which includes dampers / springs. The disc can be used with the original pressure plate, but we recommend mating it to a Sachs Pressure Plate, part # FVD11699701. With that combination you will experience better acceleration and a lighter clutch feel.
Features:
Greater longevity.
Aggressive release (start performance) or small clutch pedal release window.
Greater transmittable torque.
Greater thermal resistance.
Suitable for endurance races, hill climbing, slalom and rally's.
Direct replacement for OE or Genuine clutch disc.
Works with the OE pressure plate but we recommend use with FVD11699701
Diameter: 240 mm
Teeth: 23
Hub profile: 23.3 x 26-23N
Max Torque with recommended pressure plate FVD11699701: 612 lb ft (830 NM)
Made in Germany by ZF Sachs Race Engineering.
Sold individually. 1 Necessary per car.
Please Note: This is only for use on Manual Transmissions. We do not recommend this disc if you plan to use a single mass or light weight flywheel (LWFW). That application requires the use of a sprung disc. This disc is Sachs part # 881864.000910 for reference. Please check the model fitment tab to ensure accurate fitment. We also recommend replacing the release bearing or throw out bearing, part # 012141165E
