In our experience, they do not produce the issues caused by the cheaper, inferior quality units.

Please Note: This requires the use of the original rear trim cover and hardware, part # 986 631 051 00 for reference. Please note: We have experienced that polarity is not consistent with the wiring on all the 986 models. The OE brake light is alternating current (AC) so it does not matter which way it is plugged in. All LED's are direct current (D/C), which requires +/+ and -/- for polarity which means that you must switch polarity on the connector to get the LED to work.
