The Pole Position (ABE) is the ultimate Recaro street-track crossover seat. It features a one-piece shell constructed from either carbon fiber (CF) or glass-fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) with excellent ergonomics. This seat has a strong reputation in club motorsports as one of the most sought-after racing shells. It has unique ergonomics, including an S-shaped backrest with built-in lumbar support to protect against spinal compression during high-impact accidents. Many high-end car manufacturers choose to upgrade their top-performance models with the Pole Position.

Please note: The Pole Position ABE is similar in size to a Recaro XL race shell, providing additional space and comfort for a broader range of drivers and passengers. Side mounts, brackets, and sliders are not included and must be purchased separately. The correct side mounts are our part # 7207000 in Aluminum and part # 7207450 in Steel. The ABE German general-type approval/component certification with a 3-point belt is available for many vehicles (please make sure your model is covered in advance with the TUV) if that is necessary for you. Please note that all mounting hardware is sold separately and is specific to each vehicle.
