This is a European Sport Version (TUV approved) which means more conservative decibels with a sportier sound, which is perfect for the smaller displacement boxer motors. It offers an unmistakably Porsche flat six sound with increased decibels for comfortable cruising and exhilarating wide open throttle bursts. It falls in line with the raspy higher pitch GT3 sounds in the higher rpm range, which in our opinion sounds spot on for the 986 Boxster or Boxster S.

Please note: This muffler is for cars with the standard exhaust (without the Porsche Sport Exhaust - PSE). For those after more decibels than what this muffler can provide, we recommend combining this muffler with a set of sport cats.
