Oil Backflow Prevention Kit 964 1989-94 - Prevents Smoking at Startup

Description

This oil backflow kit incorporates a check valve between the oil tank and the engine which prevents the smoking on start up for all naturally aspirated 964 models.

The problem stems from the oil tank sitting higher than the engine oil pump. Gravity creates a positive pressure (water column pressure) on the pump and slowly fills the engine case with time. Once the car is started, the cars smokes very heavily which is often misdiagnosed.
