Description
Are you looking to update the rear of your 987.1 to the later 987.2 appearance but don't want to forego the expense of a new rear bumper? These taillights have you covered. This headlight set not only looks great, they provide greater safety with brighter, cleaner and more modern illumination. Not to mention, we specifically order the more expensive, longer lasting and less problematic European ECE approved (E4) taillights. In our experience, they do not produce the issues caused by the cheaper, inferior quality units that are infamous on the forums. Also, in our opinion these are far more consistent with the original design on the 987.2. Others on the market are far to busy and chunky looking with large squared LED's.Features:
Higher Intensity and Brighter than Original 987.1 Taillights
Integrated LED Brake Lights
Longer Lasting
High Quality – European ECE Approved for Street Use – E4
Direct Replacement – Plug and Play to Fit the 987.1 Specifically
Genuine Style Design and Layout
Includes Integrated Can Bus Resistor Units – No Warning Lights on the Dashboard
Sold as a Set of 2. Right and left side included.
Please Note: This set is a DEPO ECE Approved product, you can purchase different specifications from DEPO and we purchase the highest quality produced. You may experience condensation with these lights. However, the lights are specially designed to protect against the effects of condensation. Condensation is a frequently disputed issue that has been around since the early 911, 964, etc. This effect occurs after driving in rain or on a cold night. Due to vents in the lighting, heated air expands and is discharged from the lamp housing. After the light is switched of, the light slowly cools down and moist air penetrates from the outside via the vents. This moisture evaporates in the hot light housing and creates condensation. After a short ride in dry weather or after the light is switched on the evaporation process begins and the condensation clears. Technically speaking the condensation process is safe because the lighting is designed to be condensation resistant.
