Description
Mahle pistons are forged for substantially higher and more uniform strength over pistons that are cast. Mahle cylinders are manufactured from ST52 steel which has extremely high thermal resistance, they are Nikasil coated which reduces wear and friction. This set is also factory quiet as the piston pin bore is off centered. We take things on step further to ensure reliability by having the piston rings (sealing and oil scrapers) pre-installed. Each of our Piston and Cylinder kits are complete and ready to be installed. Carefully read our technical information before installing the parts. Piston rings and piston pins must not be modified. Modifications of any of these parts will void the manufacturer's warranty.Features:

*Please Note: Horsepower and Torque gains depend on the camshafts, crankshaft and other internal modifications. The minimum gains we have seen are 35+ hp and torque with a proper engine build. For 3.0 L SC models with 180-188 Hp, we recommend adapting the fuel system for better performance, send in your fuel distributor so that we can convert it to the 204 Hp variant, see part # 911110967XATK20
**Please Note: These are Genuine Mahle Pistons and Cylinders made in Germany. Many of our competitors combine Mahle Pistons with liners made by other companies, or liners from Mahle without the same tolerance which leads to reliability issues. We only deal directly with Mahle in Germany to combine the correct tolerance pistons with the correct tolerance Mahle Nikasil Coated Liners. This combination offers factory like reliability although more costly initially.
