This ball socket is responsible for kick down; it tends to wear out with time causing delayed response and lackluster throttle response. It is a simple replacement and is very rewarding when adjusted correctly. One is on the end of the throttle cable and the other behind the pedal.We also recommend adding 2 x securing clips for installation, part # 900 169 014 01
