For 20 years, FVD-Brombacher has been setting the standard for Porsche tuning. FVD-Brombacher has perfected the art of Porsche tuning making substantial gains in horsepower and torque, all while retaining the drivability and most importantly reliability required in an everyday driver. These advancements have been the result of countless hours of research and relentless testing on the engine dyno, at the track and most importantly on the street. Until recently ECU tuning has meant the removal of the computer from the vehicle to be sent out for reprogramming - resulting in several days of the vehicle being un-driveable. This is no longer necessary! FVD-Brombacher is ringing in a new era in ECU tuning with our new flash load ECU software upgrade featuring Fast Load technology, making do-it-yourself at home ECU tuning a reality. FVD-Brombacher’s flash load software is a user friendly Windows based software application that provides the ability to read out and load programmed software directly thru the vehicles OBD II port. Programming is a simple, computer guided experience and requires hardly any user input.

FVD-Brombacher supplies the customer with a USB cable which interfaces directly with the vehicles diagnostic port and our companion flash load software program. Read-out of the vehicles ECU takes place with the click of a button thru the vehicle-encrypted cable, which automatically creates and sends a file to a secure server at FVD-Brombacher Headquarters in Germany. Our software programmers then extract the file’s data, tune the software, then modify the program to suit the customer’s individual needs. Customers are able to express individual tuning requirements in a text field at the end of original file read-out before the program is sent to Germany. Here, the customer can input performance upgrades already installed on the vehicle and our programmers can adapt software tuning to extract maximum performance gains out of existing vehicle modifications. Whether your vehicle is heavily modified or completely stock, FVD-Brombacher will custom tune our programming to suit individual requirements. While we are able to modify a program based on individual needs, FVD-Brombacher tunes Porsche ECUs with the following modifications in mind: Increasing throttle response - Modifying Ignition Timing -Optimising Air and fuel ratios Removal of the top speed limiter-Increasing the rev limiter - Modification of boost mapping on turbo vehicles.

All of FVD-Brombacher’s programming is proprietary, developed in house by FVD, for FVD, our partners and you, our customers. After modifications are made to the software, the file is then sent back via email directly to the customer who can then load the program back into the vehicle. The read-out of the original software and loading of the new program takes only minutes and the entire flash load process from start to finish takes under an hour. Customers also have the ability to flash their ECU back to stock anytime using the same cable and software, as the customer is also sent their original, unmodified program file. FVD-Brombacher offers free software program updates should the customer decide to step up their performance and choose one of our level kits. FVD-Brombacher level kits are companion parts designed to work seamlessly in concert with our tuning software to maximize your Porsche’s performance. FVD GT3 Race Exhaust

The FVD GT3 race muffler gives the 997 GT3 a more pronounced, aggressive sound similar to the 997 GT3 Cup Car. Our exhaust is much less restrictive than the factory and produces more power and phenomonal sound with a substantial reduction in weight. Our race muffler is 44.5 lbs lighter than the factory exhaust system!

  • Highly effecient German tri metal 200 cell catalytics which flow like 100 cell

  • This System Weighs 42lbs and is one complete unit. The headers are welded to the cats to allow for the perfect backpressure to produce good torque down low. This system produces 25HP and 25 lb. ft of torque.

  • Reuses Factory tips or any other aftermarket tips that fit on the stock exhaust.

FVD TUV Approval Process

Like all European Vehicles, FVD parts are TÜV approved. What is TÜV approval you ask? Basically, German-registered road vehicles may not be operated on public roads without a certificate from the TÜV. Also, all modifications must be approved, from installing tires of a different size to materials used in nuts and bolts. TÜV's safety guidelines are among the strictest in the world, and getting a road permit for thoroughly customized vehicles borders on the impossible.
FVD’s parts passed these criteria in order to obtain the TÜV stamp of approval:

  • Corrosion Test – Exterior metal parts (ie exhaust, brakes, rims, etc.) must undergo a HCL (Hydrocloric Acid) bath, which speeds up the corrosion process. This ensures long lasting, highly durable parts which benefit the end consumer.


  • Extreme Temperature Test – Items are put through –40 degree’s Celcius to + 85 degree’s Celcius sudden temperature change. This test ensures that material expansion and contraction does not cause cracking or material inconsistency.


  • Material Analysis – Chemical and Microscopic material analysis is done to determine the correct percentages of Iron, Zinc and many other elements. This also ensures material consistencey and longevity.


  • Exhaust Temperature Test – Exhaust items are also put through a series of extremely high temperature tests in order to assure the consumer that parts can withstand cracking and splitting. Test temperatures exceed 1,400 degree’s Celcius!! For reference normal exhaust gas temperatures are only 800 degree’s Celcius.
