The FVD Brombacher full race exhaust system for the 981 and is one of the most technically advanced systems for Porsche to date. Our entire “Brombacher” line of exhausts is manufactured to our specifications by M&M Exhaust, GmbH in Germany as is this system for the 981.

Features:

Intoxicating growl at idle, partial throttle and wide open throttle.
German V2A - X5CrNi18-10 - 1.4301 stainless steel for improved durability.
“Aero Quip” style motorsport muffler connections with a single gasket and flange at the header to ensure a leak free exhaust.
ECU programming (software) is NECESSARY.

This system is race proven and makes substantial power in the low, mid and top end. We noted a + 30 crank hp & + 25 crank torque gain, predominantly in the mid and top end. The increase in mass and velocity of exhaust flow through the specially built muffler internals produces a strong, linear; firing-order dominated true flat-6 Porsche sound.

In addition, each of our exhaust products have been extensively tested on both a chassis and engine dyno as well as logged thousands of miles on both the street and at the track. All this research, development and testing ensures maximum horsepower gains throughout a broad power band with an exhaust note that is purely Porsche. M&M Exhaust GmbH produce our entire “Brombacher” exhaust line, basically anything that begins with part # BES or RES. M&M's modus operandi, racing. They are Germany's premier racing manufacturer and have exhaust systems running in these series: Porsche Super Cup, Carrera Cup Deutschland, ADAC GT Masters, VLN / BF Goodrich, FIA GT, IMSA and Rallye Meistershaft. They also produce the current RSR, Cup R and Super Cup exhausts for Weissach. Not one of our competitors can make that same claim.
